This is not your grocery-run tote. It’s an Asset for you high-functioning slightly unhinged ones who leave the house at 8am with no idea where you'll land by sundown. It's sturdy enough to take endless beating but sleek enough for 5pm Negronis at The Cap-Ferrat.
The story of this tote is a fun one. We have a slightly nutty friend who travels 300+ days a year. We were developing a backpack/tote combo thing and shared it with him. Riley gave us a barrage of very considered thoughts (abuse??) on simplifying our sh*t and just making a great bottomless tote. We should have named it The Riley. Thanks, Riley.

Does The Asset work as a carry-on?
With a 27-liter capacity, luggage pass-through, and zippered closure, The Asset makes an excellent travel companion. It measures 14" × 8" × 16". Check your airline's personal-item dimensions before flying.
Will it fit my laptop?
Yes. The Asset's roomy 27-liter interior accommodates most everyday laptops, including a 15-inch laptop. There's no dedicated padded laptop compartment, so we recommend a protective sleeve for your precious cargo.
Is it waterproof?
The PU-infused fabric exterior is designed to shrug off everyday splashes and unexpected weather. It's easy to wipe clean, but we wouldn't recommend taking it swimming.
Is it comfortable to carry when packed full?
Yes—the edge-painted leather handles make for a comfortable shoulder carry, while the body has enough give to move with you rather than against you, even when fully packed.
