The Asset

$180
★★★★★Loved by thousands of customers

The Asset is built for people who leave the house for lunch and end up in Lisbon. It is not your farmer’s market canvas sack, and it’s not another over-complicated backpack with twenty dangling straps.

Built to be abused by baggage handlers, yet polished enough for 5pm Negronis at the Cap-Ferrat. Buy it once. Beat the hell out of it.

  • Structured 27L Architecture: Stands upright on its own so you can load it without wrestling floppy sides.

  • Tech-Infused Body Armor: PU-infused ballistic nylon that shrugs off rain, dirt, and airport floor mystery grime.

  • One-Handed Jedi Magnetic Closure: Hidden magnetic rim snaps shut effortlessly, backed by a burly expansion zip for overhead bins.

  • High-Vis Oslo Interior: A bright teal interior lining. It’s a genuine revolution—you can actually see your gear inside.

The process

Most tote bags suffer from the same fundamental design flaw: they’re treated as disposable accessories rather than essential equipment. Traditional canvas absorbs every drop of rain and puddle of dirt, while standard designs collapse into a shapeless pile the moment you put them down.

We designed The Asset around the concept of ruthless utility dressed in quiet polish. We wanted a bag with the structural integrity to stand upright on a concrete floor, the volume to swallow two days of gear, and the material refinement to look right at home in a first-class cabin or a corner office.

Tough enough for airport tarmac.
Polished enough for the boardroom.

Built for heavy mileage.
Finished with quiet refinement.

Crafted from PU-infused ballistic nylon that sheds rain, spilled coffee, and grime with a quick wipe. You get a sleek, elevated aesthetic for dinners and meetings, with the rugged durability to be thrown in trunks and on concrete.

Scaled to hold a 16” laptop, tech kit, sneakers, and a change of clothes without bloating into a bulky duffel. Its self-standing base means it stays upright next to your desk or under an airplane seat instead of collapsing on the floor.

Concealed magnetic contact points snap shut automatically the second you let go of the handles so you can grab gear on the fly. When you're boarding or tossing it into an overhead bin, pull the expansion zipper for full lockdown.

Origin story

A Life on the Road, A Scrapped Prototype, and Riley.

Early on, we spent months designing what we thought was the ultimate hybrid travel bag. It had complex straps, internal dividers, and half a dozen compartments. We sent the prototype to a close friend of ours who spends over 300 days a year living out of airports. Riley gave it to us straight:

“You’ve over-thought this. Cut out the noise. Build a clean, indestructible, bottomless tote that stands upright, slides onto rolling luggage, and lets me access everything without fighting straps.”

He was spot on. We scrapped the complex prototypes, focused on material integrity and effortless access, and built The Asset. We almost named it The Riley. Thanks, Riley.

How does a laptop fit inside?

The Asset has a 27L capacity and room for a laptop, tech kit, and daily gear. Its external dimensions are 14 inches wide × 8 inches deep × 16 inches tall. Use a protective sleeve for your laptop and check its measurements before packing.

What makes these materials different from standard canvas or nylon?

How do I clean and maintain The Asset?

Wipe the coated exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and machine washing. Let the bag air dry before storing it.
